Kingdom (2018) is a South Korean Fantasy Historical Thriller series that tells of a crown prince sent through a suicide mission to investigate the mysterious plague that spread throughout his country, in the Korean medieval Joseon period. Truth threatens the kingdom, as he finds that this is a terrible plague in the form of zombies. The series is based on Kim Eun-Hee's "Burning Hell Shinui Nara" webcomic, and will also be Netflix's second original series in Korea.
Kingdom (2018) is produced by AStory Co., Ltd., and distributed by Netflix. The film is directed by Kim Seong-hun, with Sangbaek Lee as executive producer. Meanwhile, Kim Eun-hee acts as a story writer and script. The cast for the main characters in the film are: Bae Doo-Na, Kim Sang-Ho, Heo Jun-Ho, and Jun Suk-Ho. The film premiered in South Korea in 2018 and consists of 6 episodes.
