Drama Korea Mothers (Your Favor)



Mothers (2018) is a South Korean drama film based on the novel "Dangshinui Bootak - My Other Mother" by Lee Dong-Eun (author) & Jeong Yi-Yong (illustrator) published first on February 25, 2015 by Esoop Publishing. The novel titled "Dangboo" (literally "Request") won the annual spring literary contest in 2013 from The Dong-A Ilbo newspaper. The film tells the story of Hyo-Jin (Lim Soo-Jung), a 32-year-old woman. Two years ago, her husband died in an accident. Her husband has a 16-year-old boy, Jong-Wook (Yoon Chan-Young), from a previous marriage. And now Hyo-Jin starts living with Jong-Wook.

Mothers (2018) is distributed by tvN, directed by Lee Dong-Eun, with Lee Dong-Eun and Jeong Yi-Yong acting as a story writer and scriptwriter. Casts for main characters in the film include: Lim Soo-Jung, Yoon Chan-Young, and Han Joo-Wan. The film premiered in South Korea in 2018.
